7 Christian Podcasts for Women

7 Christian Podcasts for Women

I’m an avid podcast listener, especially while I’m working. Packing orders goes by much faster when you’ve got warm, friendly voices chatting in your ears! Just like books, there are thousands of Christian podcasts for women, but some are more detrimental than valuable.

With this in mind, I’ve put together this list of my favourite Christian podcasts for women to gently guide you towards a listen that will both nourish and uplift your spirit.

What Do I Mean By ‘Podcasts for Women’?

As I’ve said before, much of the human experience is the same for men and women, and there is little that needs to be created just for us. After all, we read the same scriptures. So, a lot of the podcasts I’ve included below are suitable for men and women, but some of them are created by women or with women in mind.

7 Christian Podcasts for Women

1. Coffee and Crumbs

This is my top recommendation. If you’ve been here a while, you’ll know I have a long-standing love for this podcast and the website that started the whole ministry.

Ashlee Gadd is incredibly lovable and has such a wonderful way with words. I pay a subscription to listen to bonus episodes because one a month is not enough! The discussion is frequently just Ashlee and her current co-host, Katie Blackburn, but they also have regular guests. Topics include creativity, writing, motherhood, running a business, hospitality, friendship, and a whole lot more.

2. Knowing Faith

Knowing Faith is aimed at all Christians, and the discussion of many topics is robust and scripture-centred. I find it to be a refreshing and engaging podcast that dives deep into the heart of the Christian story and belief, without ever feeling heavy or inaccessible.

Hosted by Jen Wilkin, JT English, and Kyle Worley, the show strikes a rare balance between thoughtful theology and genuine, easy-going conversation, with plenty of laughs thrown in.

The co-hosts are friends in real life, and it shows in their respect for one another, their desire to get to the truth and understand why each believes what they do. This season, they have been going through some tricky questions, and it has truly made me rethink my position on various topics.

3. The Deep Dish

I’m a relatively new listener to this podcast, but I have really enjoyed the 10 or so episodes I have listened to.

The Deep Dish is a Gospel Coalition podcast hosted by real-life friends Melissa Kruger and Courtney Doctor. Their comfortable interactions blend rich conversations about God’s truth with a relaxed, welcoming tone that makes you want to stay a while. It’s thoughtful without being overwhelming, practical without being shallow, and, yes, the ‘deep-dish’ reference to pizza makes it all the more inviting!

If you’re looking for something that will gently challenge you and help you grow in your faith and relationships, this is an easy one to keep coming back to, and I will.

4. Beauty for Ashes

Formerly Quantum, this is not a podcast exclusively for women, either. However, it is so valuable to us, making us think critically and through a biblical lens. It looks at news and views from around the world from a Christian perspective and has been one of my consistent weekly listens for over 6 years.

Hosted by David Robertson, who I knew of when living in Edinburgh, this podcast pushes back against what culture is trying to tell us, and looks at stories from all over the world, with frequent features from the UK, Australia and the USA. It is not super polished, and I love the way David has introduced me to such a huge variety of music – he plays excerpts of songs that go along with the piece of news he’s about to talk about, and often has a country of the week so I have learned about places I knew little about.

David is also eager to hear feedback and will apologise and correct himself if errors are pointed out to him, and encourages conversation on things, as he is willing to change his mind with more information, which I find admirable and a great example.

5. Family Discipleship Podcast

This podcast has a great balance of two female co-hosts and one male voice. Whether you’re a mother, grandmother, or mother-to-be, it’s well worth a listen. They cover a wide range of topics, but they’re all rooted in the realities of everyday family life.

Hosted by Adam, Chelsea, and Cassie, the podcast feels honest, relatable, and grounded in what really matters – faithfulness. For Christian parents in the thick of it, it’s a genuine gift, and the admission of error and imperfection is so reassuring. What stands out most is how real the conversations are. They don’t just share wins, they talk about the struggles, too, from parenting challenges to marriage and building faith at home. Their honesty makes it easy to trust what they’re saying and apply it to your own life. Our family has certainly benefited.

Each episode offers practical ideas you can actually use, along with steady gospel encouragement that points you back to the bigger picture: you’re not in control of your kids’ faith, God is. That reminder alone makes this podcast worth listening to. It’s scary and reassuring all in one! But if you’re trying to raise kids who love and follow Jesus, this is the kind of encouraging, down-to-earth voice you’ll want in your ears regularly.

6. Honestly, Though

Although they are quite different to me, I love that the hosts of this show are very honest and real. They live in the USA, so I often find it hard to relate to their experiences as the culture they live in is surprisingly different to mine, but I enjoy listening to their conversations. It really does feel like you’re eavesdropping on three friends having a natter! Topics include sexual health, addiction, Scripture study, mental health, work, church and theology.

7. Revive Our Hearts

I go through spurts of listening to this podcast, but it is biblically rooted, and there are regularly nuggets of wisdom to take from it. I love that it goes straight to the Bible and stays there. Every episode feels like sitting down with a trusted friend who actually tells you the truth, not just what’s easy to hear. It’s deeply scriptural, consistently pointing back to Jesus, and it doesn’t shy away from challenging you to live out what you believe.

I also love that it is one of few podcasts and ministries for women run by an older woman. Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth has a lot of lived experience and a huge bank of wisdom to share from.

What stands out most is its balance. You get thoughtful Bible teaching, honest conversations about hard life situations, and reminders of repentance, joy, and grace, all woven together in a way that feels both grounding and personal.

If You’re in the Mood for a Good Book

I know how challenging it can be to choose your next read, especially when so much of Christian literature, especially for women, can be fluff. To make it a little easier for you, I recently shared a list of 7 of the Best Christian Books for Women. Happy reading!
