This activity is great to use in the home, but would also would work brilliantly as an activity in church, with a group of kids.

As they colour and engage with the elements illustrated on the jumbo colouring page, you can talk and tell the story to your children about key events that happened during Holy Week, such as the triumphal entry on Palm Sunday, Jesus’ last supper held with his disciples in the upper room, Jesus’ trial with Pilate, his crucifixion, his burial and resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Easter activity teaching about the events of Holy Week 

This is a great resource to spark conversations with your children, give them a huge activity to get stuck in to during Holy Week and can be folded away, and brought out again. It can be shared between siblings or they could have one each. Set it out on the dining table, floor, or, if your children can be trusted to stick to colouring the paper only, tape it to the wall! You can leave it out during the day to keep those conversations going and invite your children back to it between other activities, or pack it easily away in its cellophane A4 wrap.

This is also a great Sunday school gift or activity to do during children’s church, and will cement the stories told over Easter in to children’s minds.
