Things I love about you commission

Are you looking for something very personal and completely unique to give on a significant birthday or anniversary? Give a list of things you love with little watercolour illustrations in the shape of a heart. Printed on to A3 hahnemuhle german etching paper, this gift is a wonderful way to celebrate someone’s loveliness, their cute quirks and in jokes and traditions formed over the years of life with them.

Choose things you admire about them. Are they exceedingly generous? Do they have an awesome sense of humour? We’re they always first at the birth of your children? Was their patience limitless as they taught you to drive? Do they have a talent they have used for the good of others? Do they selflessly walk through nettles first, getting all the stings? Do they have a sense of adventure that is not satisfied by even the greatest of adventures?

What is it you love about them? Any little quirks like the way they say “earywig” instead of earwig? Or how they always chop their nails out of the car window waiting for everyone else to be ready? Do they consistently wear odd socks? Or do they keep ajar of perfume in the car door “just in case”?

(PS - these examples are all things I would include on prints for some of my nearest and dearest!)

Once you have purchased your choice of print, send me an email (annajoyhamill@gmail.com) with the list of things you’d like written on your print - pay attention to spelling as I will correct any mistakes I notice but cannot be held responsible for ones I do not spot. I will write them in my signature calligraphy writing and add in some small painted illustrations. I’ll then send you a draft file for your approval before sending to print.
