Christian sewing heart card

So much of Proverbs 31 speaks about sewing, making and clothes that I could not choose one verse to specifically relate to this sewing heart card. So I chose one that sums up the godly woman of Proverbs 31 which is “A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”

Everything we do as Christians should flow from our fear of God and our love for Him. The wife of noble character works hard at the spindle, makes clothes for herself, her family and to sell, she ensures her family are not cold in winter, she selects wool and flax, spins and weaves, and works hard at all she does.

The illustration on this card can also be found on my Sewing Heart Card, and features an assortment of items related to embroidery, sewing and clothes making. They are all drawn individually and put together to form the shape of a heart. The drawings include a purple sewing machine, spools of thread, needles, pins, buttons, little scissors and tape measures. All have lovely little details on them to make them look extra special.
