Commission a custom illustrated wedding venue or church

If you're looking for a custom illustrated piece of art for your home or to give to someone special, perhaps as a wedding gift, a birthday gift, a house warming gift or an anniversary gift, this is just the thing!

Choose any building of meaning - it could be your wedding venue, your church, the national trust building where you got engaged... really, the sky is the limit. A place that brings you joy that you would love to look at, framed in your home - this is a tangible memory of your favourite place.

Each custom portrait is hand-painted on 300gsm watercolour paper with Winsor & Newton watercolour paint and finished with black ink to define edges.

You will receive your unique painting unframed, beautifully wrapped in tissue paper, protected by thick board and ready to give as a gift or as a special treat for yourself.

How to order, the process and timeline.

After purchasing, simply send a high-quality picture in colour of the house  you would like painted via email to hello@andhopedesigns.com. If there is small detail in your image, close up pictures would be great to send too!

Whether the artwork is landscape or portrait will depend on what best fits the image you send unless you have specified a preference via message.

Timing of commissions.

Each illustration is hand drawn and painted with watercolour before adding the final touch of black ink lines. These take time.

Depending on demand, this may take up to 3 weeks to dispatch, but will usually be ready within 5-7 working days.

If your order is time sensitive, please get in touch before ordering to make sure I can accommodate. I’ll always try to work to deadlines you have but do check beforehand!

What do you draw?

I draw a variety of buildings or scenes - from flats, houses and bungalows, to farms, churches and other wedding venues. Please note your illustration will be in the style you see in the photographs and videos above.

I sketch from the perspective in the photograph you provide and include some background such as sea, flowers, pavements, etc. Please let me know if there are details you do not want included in your illustration (drain pipes, specific trees, grave stones in a church illustration, etc)

Please be as specific as possible with which elements you want excluded. I can also add little things like a wreath on the door, flower pots and leaves on trees!

Postage & packaging

All orders will be sent Royal Mail tracked post, wrapped with tissue paper and shipped in a cardboard backed envelope (with extra cardboard for larger pictures) inside an A4 letterbox box to prevent your painting being accidentally bent in transit. This combination of wrapping is all eco friendly and recyclable, and works well to keep your piece of art in perfect condition while it journeys to you. Postage and packaging is included.

Unfortunately due to the custom nature of this artwork I will be unable to accept returns and refunds.
