Christmas cards - Edinburgh. - Happy Christmas
I’m not sure I know of a more romantic city than Edinburgh in Scotland, and walking around the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh at Christmas is truly magical. Send Scottish Christmas wishes from this beautiful city with these luxury Christmas cards of a wintery scene from Circus Lane in Stockbridge.
Circus Lane in Stockbridge at Christmas time
I lived in Edinburgh for 8 years during and just after studying at the university there. It has a truly special place in my heart, as I met my husband, got engaged and married there. We spent many a date wandering around the Water of Leith, and when we visit, we always make a point of walking around the city including without fail the one illustrated on this card.
This is Circus Lane, a gorgeous quaint little road in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, with St Stephen’s church at the end of it. I have painted it with Christmas accents like wreaths, twinkling fairy lights, Christmas trees and even a dusting of snow under a starry night. The light from the windows glows and the cosy cottages are inviting.
This card has “happy Christmas” hand lettered across the top, and the same illustration is available with the words “a thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices” from my favourite Christmas Carol, O Holy Night, here.
Printed on to lightly textured premium card, these luxury Christmas cards are gorgeous to send and a delight to receive. They are blank inside and come with white envelopes. They are available in sets of 4, 8 and 12, and are wrapped with white and gold twine before being carefully placed in a hard backed envelope or a box that will fit through most letterboxes. They are wrapped plastic-free and posted same or next day with 2nd class Royal Mail post.
