Hand poured in to a beautiful amber jar, this elegant candle has a fresh, slightly sweet fragrance. This evokes to me a slow, warm afternoon in the sunshine, enjoying watching plants and produce growing around me, and walking across a green lawn to pick ripe rhubarb from the end of the garden, collecting fresh mint to add to a lovely bright salad ready to gather with friends and share on a terrace of sun-baked bricks.

The fragrance begins with a crisp scent of freshly picked rhubarb, which is more sweet than tart. As you inhale deeply, the light smell of fresh mint joins the rhubarb giving a lovely even smell. I know buying a candle online can feel risky without smelling it yourself. I have taken a great deal of care and a lot of experimenting to find this scent which is neither sickly nor overbearing, but has a lovely relaxing smell.

That moment when you could hear the voice of God - He isn’t in the whirlwind of the fire or the storm. He has a gentle, quiet voice which can only be heard when you are still.

This is the feeling I want to instil (see what I did there?) with this candle.

This candle is designed to be given as an elegant and luxurious gift. The label is designed with Anna’s signature hand lettered type and some beautiful botanical elements in a gorgeous mint green. It is printed on to antique laid paper which has a lovely texture to it making the candle look and feel beautiful as well.

You candle will be beautifully wrapped in deep blue tissue paper and kept safe during postage in a box with recycled bubble wrap or other packaging reused from my own deliveries. A card can be added to the parcel and I am happy to hand write a message if you would like to send this directly as a gift to someone.
