Summer Reading Challenge Printable

Want to get your kids reading more over the summer break? This Summer reading challenge printable is perfect for adding rewards of your/their choosing and for getting them to read more books.

My children love to read but are even more motivated when there are treats like an ice cream parlour trip, an afternoon at the splash pad, a family movie night or a pizza takeaway when they've reached a goal. Most children are like mine, and this has been a great way to get them more interested in books than watching rubbish on YouTube! So join in the fun and magic of reading more books this summer.

This printable is easy to use - download it, print one off for each child and fill in the sunshine rewards. As your child finishes a book, enter its title (and perhaps even a star rating), and they will be one step closer to the reward. 

Make the rewards as big or as small as suits your family and summer budget, and take more trips to the library this summer.

This is a printable for personal use, and you can print it as many times as you need this year and in subsequent years; however, it is not to be distributed to groups and other families, nor can it be sold.
