Modern Heirloom Alphabet Print
A high quality neutral alphabet print which grows with children.
This is a beautiful modern heirloom alphabet print with a set of carefully chosen colours including earthy yellow and browns, a lovely forest green accompanied by a dark navy blue, baby blue, and a bright orange-pink colour to form a high quality and neutral colour palate.
The letters of the alphabet are written in their capital form and are in a sans-serif font with watercolour-infused changes in colour.
There are images of a word which matches that letter (in English) above, below or sometimes intertwined with the letter - my favourite intertwined image is the octopus slithering through the O. Other animals include a fox, an elephant, a giraffe, a lion, a zebra, incredible patterned and colourful insects and a shy hedgehog peeking from behind the H.
There are a few images inspired by nature, including a nest with little blue eggs in it, a sunflower (my favourite flower), a rainbow, a pine one, a volcano and a tree.
I wanted to include some sweet food items, so have popped a jar of marmalade, a glass jar yoghurt, some wobbly wobbly jelly and an apple.
The other images are a ball, some crayons, a dinosaur, a kite, a queen’s crown, an umbrella, a wreath and a xylophone.
The colours and subject of this alphabet print mean that it is suitable for a baby’s nursery and can be moved to suit a child or tween’s bedroom or a neutral or minimalistic playroom.
The modern heirloom alphabet is printed professionally with high quality vegetable inks on to 310gsm hahnemuhle german etching uncoated paper, which is a lovely smooth paper with an ever so slight texture to show off the colours and print to perfection.
With or without scripture at the bottom of it
This alphabet print is available in A3 and A2 and is available with the alphabet only or with a verse from scripture which says “God has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11”
These are the two ready-made options, but you can also request a personalised print, with the name of the child for instance or a quote or other verse from scripture you would like hand lettered below the alphabet.
Postage and packaging
Due to the size of these wall art prints, both A3 and A2 will be posted in postal tubes. These are quite possible being reused from deliveries of materials received by us and can definitely be used again once you have received your print. Why get a new one when there are a bunch hanging around the studio in perfectly good condition?!
Your alphabet wall print will be carefully rolled up with some tissue paper around it and on each end to keep it safe, secure and clean in transit, and it’ll be a joy to receive and open, I promise!!
We offer free Royal Mail 2nd class shipping, if you’d like to upgrade to 1st class, please choose “express” shipping.
This alphabet is perfect for a neutral children’s room and will look gorgeous in a playroom. It is a modern heirloom that will grow with a child, framed sweetly in a nursery and lasting well in to an older child’s decor. It makes a fabulous birthday or Christmas present for a grandchild or godchild.
