This luxury A6 card is printed with a hand drawn and watercolour painted Edinburgh Christmas scene. I painted Circus Lane, in Stockbridge near Dean Village with Christmas trees, lights and a sprinkling of snow for a magical look. The quality of the printing is such that it looks directly hand painted rather than printed on to lovely textured 300gsm cardstock.
Some of the lyrics from the Christmas carol O Holy Night are hand lettered at the top of the card, and read “a thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices” which is my favourite line from the carol. The world feels especially weary yet again this Christmas time.
This card is available as a pack of 4, 8 or 12 identical cards.
